A disease is an abnormal disorder of a body system's normal function in any type of organism. This is a very broad definition, so there are countless diseases, like a common, annoying sore throat, a mild cough, a strong bacterium infection like the one causing the Black Death, HIV, malaria, or cancer. Diseases are extremely important because diseases are the most common way to die, as almost everybody will have fatal bodily disorder. In this Kduckology section, we will explain diseases caused by specific infectious agents. Each page will have the name of the infectious agent, where it fits in the taxonomy tree, how it works, as well as the disease it causes and the history of the disease. As a bonus, there is a statistic or fun bit of trivia at the bottom of each subpage. Also, there will be a bit of etymology, as many of these terms come from Greek or Latin. We recommend you to first look at the main pages before going to the subpages. Other than that, there isn't much to say, as this is just a page created to host subpages.
