Logic puzzles

Math is based off of logic and deduction, and these are puzzles that will test those. Every puzzle will have an answer linked in a google document, and most of these come from the internet, but some will be made by us. Every puzzle from the internet will have the site link/name. As time goes on, the most recent puzzles will get uploaded at the top. For some problems, you may have to use your own paper and write the problem down.

Puzzle #3

You are inspecting four boxes, and each one supplies food to vegan and burger restaurants. From reading labels, you get the following: One has spinach, one has steak, one is going to a vegan restaurant, and one is going to a burger restaurant. What is the minimum number of boxes you need to check to ensure that everything will go to the right restaurant?

Alice did not finish first

Emma finished directly after Alice and directly before Cassy

Daniel finished next to Cassy

Puzzle #1, 

You are stuck in a room, and you have to find the escape key. You find four people. Only one person is telling the truth, and one person has the key. Here are what the four people say:

Person A: I do not have the key

Person B:  Person C does not have the key

Person C: I have the key

Person D: Person B is lying

Who has the key?
