In a 30-60-90 degree triangle, the leg opposite to 30 degrees is a, the longer leg (opp. 60) is a times sqrt(3), and the hypothenuse is 2a.
In a 45-45-90 degree isosceles right triangle, the legs are 'a' and the hypothenuse is a * sqrt(2)
Isosceles triangles have two equal sides and equal angles on the ends of the equal sides. To prove that a triangle is isosceles, either prove two sides are equal or that two angles are equal.
Equilateral triangles have all equal sides and angles.
